And if you didn't read some of our adventures from Costa Rica the other summer, check out my travel blog - though it's waiting for more updates. I like the blog format, but internet access was spotty for me down in Costa Rica and I still relied on my beloved notebook throughout the trip.
Speaking of notebooks, I have ditched Moleskine permanently as my go-to journal of choice. I now use EcoSystem journals, produced right here in the United States. Same price point, but instead of being made in China, they're from the US and you can track where all the parts of your journal came from.... plus, it does have the handy back pocket like Moleskine.
- Art-O-Culture is now open in Marysville, CA. AoC is a gallery, but with so much more! We've got artist studios, a house band, a theatre company, and are home to GOTBLISS, the LGBT group in Yuba-Sutter. Check out what's happening at AoC by liking our Facebook page.
- I am the Director for the Mary Aaron Museum in Marysville, California. Here's their new website and we've finished the upstairs renovations finally!
- For our fifth anniversary, The Dog bought me a Cadillac. Yup. A big boat of a Cadillac. A 1969 triple-white Deville Convertible. It's beautiful and he's awesome.
- Ernie Leyva's art is my new muse. His art is now at Art-O-Culture. If you're interested in some of his work, drop me a line to lily(at)onlinelily.com.
